The Jesus Mystery

What's up readers!

I've just written a page report on mystery of the resurrection of Jesus for my Religious Education class, what do you think of it?

In this report, I am to prove if Jesus really died on the cross and came back to life or he was simply replaced with a look-alike when he died.

Bible sources show that just before Jesus’ arrest, he was praying in a place called Gethsemane. His Disciples were supposed to be keeping watch but they went to sleep.

Some could argue that Jesus ran away and was replaced by someone who looked like him while the Disciples were sleeping. However, if Jesus really was replaced, somebody would notice. Even twins have different voices and builds. It wouldn’t be too hard for one of the high priests to notice it wasn’t Jesus because he was taken straight to them promptly after he was arrested. Even if they didn’t notice, surely one of the hundreds of people who said to pilot that he should be killed would have.

On the other hand, it also could be said that Jesus was replaced only after he died. After all, it was s disciple of Jesus who took his body. Again, people could say that Jesus was only in a coma and didn’t really die.

But that doesn’t really make sense. Even if Jesus was in a coma, wouldn’t the 3 days he was left in the tomb have finished him off? Also, Jesus couldn’t have been replaced after he was put in the tomb; it was under constant guard by Roman Soldiers who had no reason whatsoever to want to help Jesus.

After Jesus had been pronounced missing and appeared to Mary, many people would agree that she was just delusional and saw someone who may have looked like Jesus. If that was so, why would the person say to tell the disciples that he had risen? People might say that he was just mocking her but why would he be, saying what he did would start rumours about Jesus and make people believe in him again.

According to Bible sources, Thomas (called Didymus) didn’t believe that Jesus had really risen and he was one of the disciples himself. He said that he wouldn’t believe unless he actually saw the holes in Jesus’ hands, feet and side.

A little later, Jesus appeared to Thomas and showed him his wounds and he believed. If Thomas hadn’t believed the stories of Jesus’ resurrection at all, not even close to believing, why would he suddenly say that he saw the real Jesus if he didn’t really?

In conclusion, I cannot find any possible explanation for Jesus’ disappearance apart from him actually being the Son of God, I think that Jesus really did rise and was taken into heaven.

Recently, I've been up to loads of stuff, I should have posted it when it happened because I don't really have the time anymore. I'm back in school off my holiday so I'll probably be making most of my posts on the weekends now, cya!

DIY Dad

Hi readers!

Today my dad and I went around to the side of the house to find out why the drain pipe was leaking. The pipe is at the top of the house so we had to get a really tall ladder to reach it.

It was my job to hold the ladder sturdy while my dad went up to find out what was wrong.

"Hmm, everything looks like it's in place" my dad said. He started to fiddle with the pipes. I looked up and saw him staring into the pipe.

"Aha!"he said,"There's a lot of water up here, it must be spilling over because of a blockage."
So my dad started to pull one of the joints off.

"There's going to be a lot of water spilling down FJ, but don't let go of the ladder." I was expecting a lot of water but nothing could have prepared me for the waterfall that followed!

"YEUCH!" my dad yelled as the water splashed all over him. I was so glad I was wearing my hood as my ears started ringing from the noise of the water.

SPLASH SPLISH SPLOOSH!

The water got EVERYWHERE! Amidst the water was a thick black substance that looked like soil that had got clogged up in the pipe.
The water stopped flowing eventually and my dad told me to get the watering can and fill it up so he could wash the soil of the side of our house.

I got the watering can and filled it up. When I got back around the house, my dad was off the ladder and had a tennis ball by his feet.

"This is what caused the blockage," he told me.

"Someone must have knocked it out of their garden and it landed in our drain pipe", I replied.

My dad was still looking up at the pipe when he said "Y'know what, I'm not going to bother back up there since we've already fixed the blockage." I could definitely tell tha he was scared, I just hope that he doesn't read this!

Thats all for now...

The Big Birthday Bash

G'morning readers!

Yesterday was my mum's 50th birthday! We had an amazing party. There was an arch of balloons going over the big table where she was sitting with her friends.

Over 400 people came! She got sooo many gifts it was awesome! I didn't know my parents had so many friends!

This morning, I was helping her unwrap her presents and in the end she said she couldn't cope with all of them. I think her favorite one was that nice musical picture frame. It's got a Christian moral in it and plays the tune "How Great Thou Art".

My favorite gift that she got was the "whole fruit juicer", my dad likes it too! We are going to buy some oranges to make pure orange juice. It's really sweet.

I'm having a great weekend, what have you been up to?

The Suite Life of Troy and Chad

Hiya readers,

today's post is about something that I watched on TV.
I'd just gotten home from school and I thought I might as well watch some TV because I was going to have to start studying for my test papers coming up so I flicked onto Disney Channel and started watching The Suite Life of Zack and Cody and the episode was about a school play they where doing.
As it turns out, the play is a parody of High School Musical! Maddie(Ashley Tidale) auditions as Sharpay (naturally) and gets put as an understudy instead and London gets the part!
I'm not going to spoil it for anyone who wants to watch it but I thought it would be nice to let you know, it's quite funny seeing a Disney movie being show in a Disney TV show...

Thanks for reading!

Making a Web-Site (Part II)

Hi readers!
Sorry for not posting for a while, I've been making some steps with my site. I still need a domain name (maybe http://www.toastymornings.co.uk/) and apart from that, eveything's sorted. I've got my parent's permission too!

If I eventually make a site, I will post the URL here so you can all visit it. Gotta go!

Making a Web-Site

Hi again readers!

I'm thinking of making my own website. I'll still include a blog in it but I'll have other pages too.
First of all, I need to know something. If I make a website, will a custom e-mail address come with it too?

On my website, I'm hoping to sell some of my collection (classified until later) and hopefully upload a few fun things you can do in your spare time too.

If I make a website, what do you suggest the URL should be?

That's all for now!
